Mainperformance Personal Trainer Jobs FAQs

The starting salary depends on your experience and the skills you demonstrate during the hiring process.

Furthermore, there are additional performance incentives, such as our MP career ladder and an internal bonus programme.

We place great value on loyalty at MP. The more you give to the company, the more we endeavour to find ways to give back to you.

MP Trainers have access to various benefits and incentives for trainers. Our MP promotion and bonus programme focuses on data metrics, including client results and retention, personal training performance, referrals, and product sales. This ensures we reward the hardest-working trainers.

Furthermore, we reward loyalty through our five-year trainer loyalty bonus and provide incentives for referring successful candidates for a trainer position.

As you progress within the company, you have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities such as online and virtual personal training, mentoring, and managing community content.

As a Personal Trainer at MP, your primary focus is always on your clients and helping them achieve their goals. Your role is to learn and implement world-leading methods to fulfil our mission – maximum results, long-term client retention, and an excellent customer experience, delivering significant returns for our clients. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out excellent personal training according to the 5-star MP criteria
  • Long-term customer loyalty
  • Excellent customer experience and outstanding service in and out of the MP Studios.
  • Embodying the MP Core Values
  • Carrying out all tasks associated with the role of Personal Trainer in accordance with company processes.

It's in the nature of personal training that your working hours encompass early mornings, late evenings, and some weekends. However, many of our clients also train during the day.

We expect our personal trainers to complete an average of 25-30 training sessions per week.

You will need additional time to support your clients outside of training and to educate yourself through our internal training system.

As a trainer, we work with you to arrange your availability with your schedule. Our working hours model includes the morning and evening shifts.

You are expected to work in the morning shift, or the evening shift, as well as some Saturdays per month.

Should your personal circumstances change, you can discuss this with your line manager to make the appropriate adjustments to your schedule.

Due to the nature of the role and the intensive training and development you will undertake in your first year, it is also possible to start on a part-time basis, provided you are committed.

The further you climb the company ladder, the more flexibility you have in managing your working hours.

Once you have gone through our recruitment process, we want to equip you with the tools and mindset to achieve results. To this end, we invest a great deal of time and effort in developing our trainers.

We are committed to your success and will support you in developing into a results-oriented personal trainer who builds long-term client relationships and provides an excellent customer experience.

As the first step in your MP career, you will go through the Mentorship Programme, the platform we use to train you into an excellent Personal Trainer.

We will teach you using a combination of educational reading materials, online tutorials, group discussions, and one-on-one coaching. You will learn how to apply the principles and systems of MP, which have been developed over the past ten years and have been proven to deliver results and satisfied customers.

We want you to settle into life at MP as quickly as possible. To ensure you understand the MP culture, procedures, and performance expectations, you will go through our online onboarding process, spend time with key members of the leadership team, and experience the MP Customer Experience.

Furthermore, during your junior year, you will be supported by a mentor who has a proven track record of success.

You attend weekly team meetings and training workshops, which are a combination of theory and practical learning.

Throughout the year, seminars will also be held, led by MP employees and guest speakers.

If you choose to maintain a social media presence, we ask our trainers to do so in a way that promotes the values and culture of the MP brand. This may include sharing pictures of our selected customers of the month, recruiting material, or promotions.

Delivering on MP standards at work requires a high level of commitment and focus on your clients. As long as your side activities do not affect your job at MP, there is nothing against it, provided it has been discussed with your supervisor.

You are responsible for obtaining and, where applicable, maintaining your qualifications as a Personal Trainer.
